Poetry in Transit is an event celebrating community connection–both social and mobile–through written & spoken word.

We’re seeking poets who are bus riders or who have benefitted from public transit to showcase 7-10 minutes of their written work, on a (stationary) bus.

Featured poems don’t have to be about the bus–you can write about walking, biking, rolling, taking the bus, your neighbors/neighborhood, Indianapolis history, or any themes & messages that you take from those modes of transportation or relationships.
