People We Meet on the Bus is a celebration of the everyday, and the profound human connection that we find with our neighbors at the bus stop, in the bike lane, or on the sidewalk.
Submissions of poetry, essays/short stories, photography, or other art for this collection are welcome October 5, 2025 through March 20, 2026! Submissions should relate to active transportation, including (but not limited to) walking, rolling, biking, or taking the bus. They should also be inspired by these modes in Indiana specifically. We’re looking for stories of connection with people, place, and community that are made possible by active transportation.
